Maritime jobs on Faroys come directly from employers, not from intermediaries. If you are a shipowner, ship manager or maritime company, you can post your seafarer jobs first-hand and without a middleman — posting is currently free of charge.
1. Open a company account
On the "Sign Up" page choose "I'm a company". Enter your company name, contact person, phone, address and country. Depending on the account type, a tax number or IMO number is requested.
2. Approval process
To prevent fake company registrations, every company account is reviewed and approved by Faroys. Approved companies' maritime jobs go live, so seafarers can be more confident that the sea jobs they see come from a real employer.
3. Create your maritime job post
Fill in:
- position and rank, vessel type, region
- contract length, joining date (if urgent, "Immediate / ASAP")
- salary
- required certificates, visas and other candidate criteria
- a description: the ship, the trade and working conditions

4. You choose how to be contacted
Faroys does not place candidates or assess applications on your behalf. For each seafarer job you decide how seafarers reach you: phone, email or Faroys in-app messaging. Interviews and hiring decisions are entirely yours.
Tips for an effective maritime job post
- State the salary: seafarer jobs with a salary get far more attention.
- Describe the ship: vessel type, DWT, flag and trading area help seafarers decide.
- Be clear about requirements: STCW certificates, experience and language level.
- Keep it current: close the post when the position is filled; up-to-date maritime jobs make the platform more trustworthy.
Our rule for companies
No company posting maritime jobs on Faroys may ask seafarers for any fee, commission or "joining fee". Posts that break this rule are removed.
In short: Faroys is a middleman-free job board built so you can reach seafarers first-hand with your maritime jobs.
